I have developed a way of working which allows me to sculpt materials.

Working with wood, which I can curve and cut and sand and shape.

This design came about from drawing the movements of Magnolia flowers, working with a material I have become familiar with - curved wood, from Chalk and Sails in Paradise series.

Each petal is unique in its movement and placement.
