As you open the door and step into this Georgian country home, you'll know you've arrived somewhere truly special. Set in a prominent position in Padstow's 'Old Town', you'll have enviable views over the town out to sea, whilst open fires, stripped wooden floorboards and sumptuous furnishings - in keeping with the heritage of the house yet super stylish too - makes sure this is a retreat you'll never forget. We particularly love the lighting here which has been designed and created specifically for Fentonluna by the lighting designer for SoHo House Hotels - Charlotte Packe. With a cinema room tucked in the attic, four perfectly individual bedrooms, an astonishing kitchen-come-dining room and a stylish sitting room there's bags of space, whilst outside the pretty walled garden and patio is just perfect for warmer weather.
An incredible heritage
Built in 1750, this stunning home has a unique and illustrious history as it belongs to Prideaux Place, a prestigious estate dating back to the Elizabethan era and continuously home to the same family ever since - although the Prideaux's themselves have lived in Cornwall since before the 1100's. Fentonluna was once home to the Land Agent who managed the Prideaux estate, but today it has been lovingly restored by the Prideaux-Brune family to become a gorgeously luxurious holiday home. This is a unique opportunity to have a sneaky peak into the life and history of the Prideaux-Brune family.

The Prideaux-Brune family approached me to help with the interior design and lighting.
We could work closely with colour schemes and linking the lighting, I also advised on the architectural lighting where needed.

Bulb table lamps with crushed canvas shade, designed as a nod to sails from the sailing boats on the nearby coast in Padstow.
Tribe table lamp, originally designed for The Charlotte Street Hotel, Firmdale Hotel in Fitzgrovia, London adapted with a blue Lucite ring for the Blue themed bedroom, matched with Ikat shade.
A Silver birch Table lamp, in one of the childrens’ bedroom.
Nibbles wall lights, in the master bathroom, patinated to deep black to match the bathroom fittings.
Bucket Pendant Lights, designed for the house, a play on the bucket and spade seaside position of the property, in Padstow, Cornwell.
The colours of the shades were selected to match the hand built kitchen, they hang over the kitchen island and throw a down ward light.
These lights are made from beautiful bridle leather, handmade in Suffolk by a saddle maker.
Baby Bucket wall lights, carried the theme into the Blue bedroom, they have a smart military aspect in this old Naval House.
