The colours from this material are always stunning, miraculous, each one unique and very inspiring.
Horn; the natural alternative to plastic. Horn has similar characteristics, can be moulded and shaped, but is totally biodegradable.
The natural curve and shape of the horn lends itself into a simple lampshade, and its translucency enhances its colours.
It is a natural product, ethically sourced and the beautiful colours range from whites and oyster through browns and black, streaks of stunning natural colours.
As single wall light, or made into multiples.
Each one is unique.
For a pair we can colour match to as near as possible.
LED retrofit bulbs light source - max 4 watts, average lumens 400-550 depending on bulb manufacturer, we supply with the strongest lamp on the current market which offers a dimmable solution and for maintenance - so you know what to order in the future. The lamp manufacturers do give a lifetime of 5yrs.
The short armed wall light pictured here is my classic design.
Specified for bookshelves, bedrooms, kitchens and studies, the head pivots 360degrees, so can be angled for reading, or downlight or even flipped for an uplighter.
I have also made with longer arms for clients with specific requirements, maybe to reach over kitchen shelves. Each wall light is handmade they are therefore bespoke, just as each home is unique.
All our horn is sourced from sustainable and traceable sources.
Brass can be patinated from rich golds to nearly black.

Horn Double Headed Pendant.
Designed to offer downlight, from the fixed vertical, and directional light from the pivoted weighted arm. The shade also has a pivot behind its head to allow for more control for directing the light.
Suggestions, in the corner of a room or as a room divider behind a chair.
Also kitchen island lighting.
HORN PLATES
The Horn Sconces -
The concept for these designs lies in the simplicity and honesty to materials.
The horn plate shields the light.
Within this concept are designs as the single here in this image, or multiples for pendant lights.
The brass can be patinated to near black or can be silver plated, the length of the vertical and horizontal arm can be altered, there is also scope for a simple shield to hide the bulb from the side.

A wall sconce, using 3 Horn plates, polished brass.
The lights shines through the horn and the brass hovers off the wall, so a pleasant wall wash with up and down light.
