Honesty Sconce.
Simplicity with refined shapes.
Inspired by nature and Honesty and her plants seed heads. The latin flower name is Lunaria, means moon like and refers to the shapes and appearance of the seed pods.
Hand carved from curved wood, with 3-4 coats of gesso, all sanded back and feather edges, revealing in places the wood behind, then a final coat of beeswax adds slight sheen and a protective coat.
