There is an element of my work where incorporating nature is the purest way.

Working with shells came about when Susanna at The Merchants Table approached me a couple of years ago to design a wall sconce with scallop shells, and use the reflective qualities of the shell, a timeless item which has been used in lighting for centuries.

The idea sat in my sketchbook until now, where the paring back leads to a pure object and design.

We have a limited selection of beautiful, native Norfolk scallop shell solid brass tea lights, each with their own distinctive sculptural character.

Once an emblem of the setting sun and always associated with the goddess of love, Venus.

These precious pieces are a collaboration with Charlotte Packe, adding to our growing lighting collection.

Included with each light is a pure British beeswax tealight.

Size: Approx as the shells naturally vary. H: 9.5cm W: 9.5cm D: 7.5cm, with solid brass cup to hold standard tea lights.
